John and his wife, Mendy were born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley. He was raised with a strong work

ethic on the family farm west of Harrisonburg. He began his career in sales in the family auction
business at an early age. John has been selling as a professional auctioneer for 25 years. He
graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003 from Virginia Tech with degrees in Agriculture Education
and Real Estate.
